Vista Valley Country Club Wedding | Hillary & Chase

Vista Valley Country Club Wedding

Hey There!

Today I am excited to share all the details from Hillary and Chase's dreamy Vista Valley Country Club Wedding. I have to admit that I absolutely loved working with these two and I think my favorite thing about them is that they are ALWAYS laughing and smiling. They brought such great energy to the table and you could tell just how much they enjoyed each other's company. As you scroll down you will see what I mean, as I'm pretty sure they were laughing in nearly all their wedding portraits!

I have to admit that I also loved their story. These two met while Hillary was on vacation visiting her's friend's family in Gainesville, Florida for a college football weekend. They immediately hit it off and, despite of not living close to each other, starting meeting up for dates and fun adventures. Over the next three years they remained in a long distance relationship and became closer than they ever expected. After three years of beating the odds of long distance, Chase proposed in the Narrows at Zion National Park on a road trip out to California. Now, these two are lucky enough to live in the same place and call California home.

When it came to planning their wedding, Hillary LOVED perusing Pinterest and browsing through all the wedding magazines. It's the one time you are allowed to do it and there is so much fun inspiration out there. For her, the biggest challenge once again had to do with distance. Both of their families lived in Florida and Chase was on 9 month deployment during the planning process; leaving Hillary to handle much of the planning. With that being said, she loved seeing all her ideas come to life and thought it was incredibly special to have everyone in one place for their wedding.

One of my favorite details of their Vista Valley Country Club wedding was Hillary's gorgeous gown! I remember her saying that she initially wanted a more tight fitting dress, but then realized that this was the ONE day she could get away with wearing a big princess like dress. Oh how true it is! And Hillary, your princess dress was gorgeous and you looked absolutely stunning in it!!

When is came to designing their ceremony, they decided to keep it simple, as the wedding ceremony site at Vista Valley Country Club is so gorgeous on it's own. The gates leading into the ceremony served as a statement piece on and the wooden arch covered in greenery provided the perfect amount of natural beauty.

After their ceremony ended they partook in a traditional military sword ceremony. The best part: Chase didn't tell Hillary that it ended with smack on the butt with a sword! The look on her face when that happened was pretty priceless.

Their wedding reception at Vista Valley Country Club was all about fun, and having an awesome band was a top priority. The happy couple and their guests enjoyed an evening filled with delicious food, amazing drinks and upbeat music. It was the evening these two had always envisioned and was the perfect way to celebrate their 'I Dos.'
