If I could describe the planning process with Lexie and Ben in a single word, it would be EASY! They were just the sweetest couple, who knew exactly what they wanted for their special day. They really leaned into their vision of everything being very clean and neutral, using Scandinavian Design as their inspo. I loved that they had such clear knowledge of what they wanted, while still being open to new ideas. I had proposed adding an ombre element into the day, which we ended up implementing through the floral. Their floral arch for the ceremony was ombre dark to light from the bottom to top, and the table floral went dark-light-dark. It was such a subtle, yet impactful touch to an already beautiful day.
Lexie and Ben had just moved to San Diego, and wanted to share their love for their new city with their closest family and friends. Knowing that they wanted an intimate wedding, they chose to have their celebration at a private residence in La Jolla by the name of Villa Francesca. I loved that this day felt so personal and so "them"! Keep on scrolling to see how perfect this entire day was!

Ceremony: Front Yard at Villa Francesca
Lexie and Ben's intimate wedding took place at a small private residence in La Jolla called Villa Francesca. They loved how quaint and detailed the house is, along with the fact that it is just minutes away from the La Jolla shores. Lexie had quite the entrance to the ceremony, as she pulled up in a gorgeous vintage Porsche. The ceremony was as sweet and can be, and there was not a single dry eye in sight!

Reception: Backyard of Villa Francesca
The wedding reception took place under the pergola in the backyard of Villa Francesca. The tabletop for their intimate dinner could not have turned out more beautifully with the full floral centerpieces, intentional details with the tabletop rentals, and the hanging pendant lighting. This whole space was the perfect setting for Lexie and Ben's loved ones to toast to the newlyweds and share about their favorite moments with the couple. Their wedding day would not be complete without cutting into their favorite carrot cake from Fort Oak SD, and sharing special moments during their parent dances.
