Children's books can be so romantic and inspiring, hence our ‘The Little Prince’ themed styled shoot. To set the scene, we chose three quotes directly from the book. The story of our shoot begins with “Once upon a time, a Little Prince fell in love with a rose…” and we photographed ‘the prince’ and ‘the rose’ in their youth. The story then continues as “One day the rose lied to him, so the Little Prince left." Finally, “after traveling the universe and trying to cure his loneliness, the Little Prince figured out what was important in life and returned to look for his rose…” and like all the best fairy tales- this one ends in happily ever after. To illustrate the story, we printed these three quotes like invitations, and photographed them to reflect something you would see in a classic fairytale. The book is also set in space. In order to incoororate this into the design, we used numerous geometic shapes and selected a color palette incompassing blues, golds, and neutrals..The gold long-stem roses were also inspired by the rose from the book.
