In light of everything going on right now, it feels only fitting to share Elise and Sean's intimate wedding at Cuvier Park in La Jolla, California. While Elise and Sean lived in Arizona they chose to tie at the beach in an intimate ceremony. While they didn't want a big, traditional wedding, they did want it to feeling meaningful, well planned and intentional; that's where we came in, as their local San Diego wedding planners.
Their ceremony took place at Cuvier Park, which has absolutely breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean. We created a simple, yet very elegant, setup where these two could say 'I Do' in front of their 10 favorite people. My favorite part? They still had a bridal party! Proof that you don't have to forgo your favorite traditions to have a small wedding.
After the ceremony, Elise and Sean headed to the cliffs for gorgeous photos and time together. Meanwhile, all of their guests enjoyed drinks and appetizers at Wisk N' Laddle. Elise and Sean didn't want a crazy formal dinner filled with dancing, and instead opted for a private room in a local restaurant for family style dinner, a dolce de leche cake cutting, and toasts with their closest friends. We, of course, still felt the need to make the table pretty and romantic!
This was truly the perfect day for these two and I have a feeling we will be seeing many more small weddings like this in the near future.
