This past week I was able to spend the week in Vail, Colorado and was able to get reacquainted with all the gorgeous mountain wedding venues it has to offer. I have to admit, there are SO many gorgeous Vail wedding venues, and it is truly the perfect location for a destination mountain wedding. It also just might be one of my favorite places in the entire US.

RITZ CARLTON BACHELOR GULCH
Nestled in the hillside of Beaver Creek, the Ritz Carlton Bachelor Gulch is true Colorado luxury. The hotel has a cozy, Colorado cabin vibe and you will be greeted with warmth and friendliness the moment you step on property. Sip on a craft cocktail on the outdoor patio and enjoy the breathtaking scenery surrounding you. If you are lucky enough to visit during the winter, you can jump on a ski lift directly from the property.
When it comes to weddings, you can't beat the Ritz Carlton Bachelor Gulch! They have a gorgeous, private ceremony venue for you to exchange your 'I Dos,' an outdoor patio for guests to enjoy during cocktail hour, and both an upscale ballroom and an outdoor area for a personalized tented reception! This is truly one of the very best Vail wedding venues you will find.
FOUR SEASONS VAIL
The Four Seasons Vail has been newly remodeled and is located right in the middle of central Vail. This upscale hotel boasts gorgeous guest rooms, a relaxing pool and is walking distance to everything Vail has to offer.
When it comes to weddings at the Four Seasons Vail, the ceremonies are what truly set them apart. Enjoy saying 'I Do' on their outdoor patio with breathtaking views of the mountains or consider exchanging vows poolside and get married under their flagstone pavilion. My favorite part about their poolside ceremonies? Their custom pool walkway! An aisle going down the center of a pool makes for a truly one of a kind day!
After you say your 'I Dos,' enjoy an evening of dinner and dancing in one of their brand new ballrooms. If you are looking for a polished wedding venue in Vail, then the Four Season's Vail is for you!

LARKSPUR
Situated at the base of Golden Peak, you can't beat Larkspur's location. Say your 'I Dos' on Larkspur's lush, green event lawn surrounded by Aspen groves and stunning views of the Gore Range. After your ceremony, choose from an array of indoor and outdoor spaces for a completely customized reception. I have to admit that our favorite reception space would be their outdoor tented option. It truly allows you to enjoy the scenery and beauty of outdoor Vail.
VAIL RESORTS
If you are looking for iconic and breathtaking views, then the Vail Wedding Deck is for you! The Vail Wedding Deck is situated at the top of Vail mountain and offers stunning views of the Gore Mountain Range and the city of Vail. As a bonus, your guests will get to enjoy a memorable gondola ride up to the top of the mountain.
After your ceremony, choose to enjoy a reception on the cobblestone street of Arrabelle Square or at the 10th, Vail's newest on-mountain dining experience. If none of these reception spaces feel quite right, that's okay! Simply host your ceremony on the Wedding Deck and travel to your dream reception venue to dance the night away!
SONNENALP VAIL
This European inspired boutique hotel gave us us all the feels! It's charming and inviting and is overflowing with character! Enjoy an intimate ceremony on their gorgeous outdoor lawn and move inside for a stunning reception in their infamous glass terrace or in one of their unique ballrooms. While their ballrooms embody a mountain aesthetic, I have to admit that I am partial to their glass terrace. Its indoor-outdoor vibe is spectacular, and you will never have to worry about weather.
If you are looking for a true European inspired wedding, but don't want to make the trek, then the Sonnenalp Vail is going to be a perfect wedding venue for you!
DONOVAN PAVILLION
If you are looking for wedding venue in Vail with the ultimate flexibility, then Donovan Pavillion is the place for you! Here you have the ability to bring in your choice of vendors, including catering and bar service. Their outdoor patio space is perfect for a mountain ceremony and their ballroom boasts classic mountain charm, with white walls, high ceilings and wooden beams.
PINEY RIVER RANCH
There are no words to describe the breathtaking scenery of Pinery River Ranch. If you are an outdoorsy couple and looking for a true Colorado experience, then Piney River Ranch is for you. This unique venue is accessible from June 21 through the last week of September and is nestled in some of best scenery around. While the scenery is gorgeous, you should be aware that it is a little bit of a bumpy ride to get there.
When it comes to wedding accommodations, Pinery River Ranch has this set up beautifully. They have two custom, very rustic log pavilions and a ceremony deck that overlooks their gorgeous mountain lake with the stunning Gore Mountain Range in the background.
I would say that this is the most 'rustic' wedding venue on our list, but the accommodations, experience and views make it a fantastic option.
GRAND HYATT VAIL
The Grand Hyatt in Vail is the perfect fit if you are looking for a true high end hotel experience. Not only is the service fantastic, but the views and scernery from the hotel are gorgeous. Picture saying your 'I Dos' in a gorgeous setting surrounded by aspen trees and mountain scenery and dancing the night away in either a neutral ballroom or their bright and open Gore Garden Tent; either of which would be to be a spectacular reception backdrop!
CAMP HALE
The best part of getting married at Camp Hale is the pure privacy and the breathtaking views! This wedding venue in Vail is truly a blank canvas that transformed and personalized to fit the exact wedding you are picturing. Here, you will exchange vows on their epic ceremony 'island' and celebrate the night away in their wedding pavilion. Don't worry, they also have lodging on-site, so you and your wedding party don't have to worry about driving anywhere. Oh, and did I mention that they have some of the most fun 'add-ons' on any venue in the area, including a fly fishing guide during cocktail hour and a jeep photography package?!
AND AS A BONUS....

DEVIL'S THUMB RANCH
Located just minutes from Winter Park, Colorado, Devil's Thumb Ranch is a truly hidden gem! This luxury ranch is rustic, yet polished, and will provide you and your guests with a true mountain experience. It is much more than simply a 'hotel' and Devil's Thumb Ranch serves at the perfect wedding weekend escape. Enjoy a low key cookout rehearsal dinner, a spa day for the bridesmaids, fly fishing for the groomsmen, and a private brunch the morning after the wedding.
As for the wedding day festivities, you truly can't go wrong here! Choose from two different ceremony locations with breathtaking views and move into one of their rustic, yet refined, lodge inspired ballrooms for your reception.

THE LITTLE NELL
The Little Nell is one of the most iconic wedding venues in the Colorado Rocky Mountains, and therefore couldn't be left off of this list! Floating three miles above the town of Aspen and just steps away from the Aspen Gondola, the wedding deck at the Little Nell features sweeping views of the Elk Mountain Range. It couldn't be any more romantic!
