Our sweet couple Jordan and Jeff didn't want a huge wedding and instead opted for a smaller micro wedding with 25-30 of their closest friends and family members. When it came to a venue, they ended up choosing La Valencia in beautifully La Jolla, as they fell in love with the views and the ambiance. They felt that the combination of outdoor / indoor space overlooking the ocean was gorgeous and was the perfect backdrop for the cozy and relaxed atmosphere they wanted.
When it came to the details, Jordan and Jeff's number one priority was getting married! :) They also wanted to have a comfortable area for family and friends to enjoy, fantastic food and drink and they didn't want to be stressed. Last but not least, they still wanted the day to feel like a wedding; even though they were having a smaller guest count.
We were so happy to be able to make the planning process easy for this adorable couple, who were both incredibly busy and active duty military. We were able to bring on the perfect vendor team for them and created a very soft and romantic aesthetic that perfectly felt like Jordan and that perfectly complemented the beautiful, intimate and relax ambiance they were wanting.
Fast forward to 3 weeks before the wedding and we received a frantic phone call from Jordan, letting us know that Jeff had just received orders and was going to be deployed a few days before the wedding. We luckily had a fantastic vendor team on board and were able to move up their wedding by a week. While all of the vendors were able to accommodate, not all guests were able to make the last minute switch, and Jordan and Jeff's 30 person wedding turned into a 12 person wedding. None the less, Jordan and Jeff made the most of the situation and still had the best day! Keep on scrolling to see exactly how their day came to life.

Wedding Ceremony: El Jardin, La Valencia
Jordan and Jeff's wedding ceremony ceremony took place in the El Jardin garden space at La Valencia and the gorgeous ocean views served as the perfect backdrop for their 'I Dos.' Blooms Design House created a gorgeous circle arch that complemented the space and added a gorgeous ambiance, but without taking away from the natural beauty of the surroundings.

Couple Photos: La Jolla Cove
After the ceremony ended, Jordan and Jeff made their way down to the water and Traci True Photography captured gorgeous photos of our adorable couple. The waves and lighting were stunning and I still can't get over how large some of the waves were in their photos!

Wedding Reception: The Veranda Ballroom
While Jordan and Jeff were enjoying photos at the beach, their guests made their way to the gorgeous Veranda Ballroom, where they enjoyed cocktails and appetizers while taking in the gorgeous ocean view.
When it came to designing the reception space, Jordan wanted a very elegant and romantic ambiance with whites, blushes and blues. In order to achieve this, we used white washed tables, brought in soft blue runners and napkins and Blooms Design House accented with gorgeous white and blush floral arrangements. It was truly the perfect setting for Jordan, Jeff and their guests to enjoy dinner and celebrate their marriage.
