If I go back and relive Karelle and Kenneth's elegant, yet rustic, wedding at Ethereal Gardens I would do it in a second! It was such a magical day filled with so much love, laughter and fun. Working with these two, alongside Karelle's mother + sister, was such a joy through the entire planning process.
How They Met:
'It was the summer of 2015 and we both swiped right on Tinder. Our first date consisted of 3 dates. We met at dog beach in Del Mar where Karelle fell in love... with Kenny's dog Trooper. We then went to have dinner and drinks at Bier Garden in Encinitas. At the end of the night we walked on Moonlight Beach where we had our first kiss... from then on we were inseparable.'
When it came to describing the aesthetic she wanted for her wedding, Karelle called it 'Rustic Chic.' She fell in love with barn at Ethereal Gardens and wanted to make the rustic venue to feel more chic and elegant. She also loved details and wanted to be sure all the details matched and felt very cohesive together. As for colors, Karelle wanted lots of earthy greens, white, off-white and a subtle pop of color.
Karelle's Favorite Part About Planning:
Other than having the help of Ashley?? :) Spending time with my mom and sister planning the wedding of my dreams and seeing how excited Kenny gets about all the details :)

Ceremony: The Barn at Ethereal Gardens
When it came time to design the ceremony, Karelle wanted a romantic and dreamy barn setup! In order to make the outside feel more chic, we adding white draping, a gorgeous garland and accented with rustic chic lanterns. Inside, we lined the aisle with a mixture of lush floral arrangements and lanterns and made sure the arch was a true focal point of the ceremony.
The ceremony itself was incredibly special and emotion filled; starting with the moment Trooper (Karelle + Kenny's dog) trotted down the aisle as their ring bearer and continued through their first kiss as newlyweds.
