Estancia La Jolla Wedding | Jessica + Dan

Good Morning!

I have been dying to share the photos from Jessica and Dan's Estancia La Jolla wedding, which is truly one for the books! Let me start by saying that I absolutely loved working with this fun loving couple who met at a dog park near their house. They hit it off right away, talking about everything and anything while the dogs played. Before they knew it, it was dark and they were the only owners left! They made plans to grab drinks later that week... and, well, the rest is history!

After then getting engaged on 2-22-14, they set their wedding date for 9/18/15 and chose Estancia La Jolla as the romantic spot for their wedding. When it came to talking about colors and décor, Jessica was constantly pulling from her photography background. As a former wedding photographer, she asked the question "how will that photograph?" prior to making any decision! A mindset that clearly came in handy for Shane in Lauren while photographing the wedding!

When it come to choosing colors and décor, Jessica really wanted to work with what the Estancia already had to offer. Because of this, she chose coral and grey as her color pallet and focused the décor around a fairly Tuscan theme, hence all the lanterns and rustic boxes. Jessica also wanted to have a couple focal focal décor elements at the reception. For this, she decided on a very fun donut bar and place card display that would fit in with the over all theme; which turned out beautifully! I will also let you know that the donuts were a huge hit, as there weren't any left over at the end of the night! A rarity when it comes to dessert bars!

I must also mention that Jessica designed and calligraphed all of here own stationery!! She is a pro in photoshop and was able to create some stunning invitations and menus! She also loved the calligraphy look, and decided to take the task on herself! She is clearly very talented, as they turned out wonderfully.

Moving past the décor and the look, Jessica looked stunning on her wedding day and you can tell just how in love she and Dan are. They are a wonderful couple, and a truly a perfect match!
