Today I'm excited to share Erica and David's gorgeous wedding. They got married at a private San Diego Mansion and it was absolutely stunning!
The Planning Process:
When I first spoke with Erica, she let me know that she wanted a white, pink and green wedding and wasn’t looking for anything fancy and that she and David had already picked out a private estate in La Jolla to host their wedding.
The next month, we got the opportunity to meet Erica at her venue and completely feel in love with both her and the space! It was absolutely breathtaking and we immediately, started to put together a very elegant, 'California feeling' aesthetic that truly felt like Erica.
The Planner's Favorite Part:
While we had a blast in creating the aesthetics, I loved seeing how relaxed Erica was on their wedding day and seeing her fully enjoy the day with her and David's immediate families. With that being said, Erica and David allowed us full creative freedom on this day and it made for a unique and exciting creative process!

The Ceremony:
The ceremony took place on the lawn outside of this beautiful private estate.
For the arch, we accented the unique wooden door with lush florals in order to create the perfect backdrop for Erica and David to say ‘I Do.’ We then added floral arrangements to the base of the stairs and fountain in order to create the perfect statement ceremony entrance for Erica. I vividly remember Erica saying that she "had never seen more gorgeous flowers in her presence".
While the aesthetics were spot on, the ceremony itself was so incredible sweet and meaningful. It was filled with so much love and you could really feel how ready Erica and David were to get married and just how much that moment meant for the two of them. It was a truly special moment.
Bride and Groom Attire:
Erica wore an ivory fit and flare lace gown with a V-neck front and low sheer back. Meanwhile, David kept it classy with a black suit and a blush colored tie. They both looked incredible together and definitely showed that in the following photos!
Keep looking through to see how this beautiful day turned into a memorable evening!

The Reception:
In creating the reception, we combined the upscale feel of the venue with a Southern California vibe and Erica’s soft color palette. We set one long table under the existing overhang and it proved to be the perfect setting for Erica and David to enjoy an intimate dinner with their immediate family.
The table was set with a detailed linen and a perfect balance of floral arrangements and white stick candles. The hints of gold and blush gave a classy, elegance mood that complimented the overall theme. The cake was 2 tiers and lightly decorated with some florals, surrounded by candles.
The remainder of the night was intimate and filled with love from friends and family. It was truly one of my favorites to design and I loved being able to see Erica and David over the moon!
