It was such a pleasure being apart of April and Scotty's beach wedding at the Catamaran Resort Hotel and Spa in San Diego, CA. They were such a fun couple to work with, and their wedding was nothing short of exciting.
When the wedding day arrived, April looked absolutely gorgeous! She wore a vintage lace wedding dress that perfectly fit her personality, and her stellar hair and make-up team transformed her into one stunning bride! We loved her half up braided hair style. Her bridesmaids were dressed in deep burgundy, and the contrast of their dresses with the deep blue ocean was one of my favorite details.
As for the color and theme of April and Scotty's big day, they wanted to stick to a bolder color scheme and wanted the reception to feel very romantic. In order to achieve this, the bridesmaids wore a deep red, and April chose burgundy floral with hints of blush to add dimension. When it came to the reception decor, April really wanted something with lots of candlelight, as she loved the feel of a natural glow. In order to achieve this, we added multiple floating candles to each reception table and lined the entire head table with candle light as well. The overall feel was magical!
Thinking back on this day is such a blast, and my favorite memory from their wedding was the "Radovich" chair they used as the Photo Booth backdrop! This massive red chair king's chair was such a fun element and all guests absolutely loved it!
