Today I am thrilled to share our Fairmont Grand Del Mar wedding shoot that was featured on Strictly Weddings!
Rose gold is one of the hottest additions to today’s color palette. Just the right touch of femininity and dazzle. To create a bold ambiance without being excessively over the top we selected a beautiful and subtly detailed linen from Nuage Designs for the tablescape. This kept the high-end feel and created a stage that allowed the table decor to really pop. Breathtaking layers of vibrant color and detailed high and low florals from Jennifer Cole Florals breathed life onto the scene.
Each place setting was set using a rose gold charger, gold-rimmed dishes and glasses. To accent each place setting, a delicate individual mini two-tier cake by Cute Cakes sweetened the look of the striking gold menu from Take Note! Creations. The shoot was set under the Aria Pavilion that we draped in flowing white chiffon and lit with an abundance of romantic candlelight. This combination establishing an enchanting vision and warm ambience.
With the assistance of Lounge Appeal, an impressive lounge area was conceived. The white love seats were highlighted with rose gold throw pillows and graced with mirrored side tables that were donned with elegant cakes and glasses of rose champagne and gold detailed place cards. Guests would be sitting in the lap of luxury!
Glamorous Looks
No wedding inspiration is complete without a bride – or four! Call Me Beautiful created a number of flawless looks for a bride that perfectly blended with the lavish rose gold wedding inspiration. It’ll be hard to choose between the glamorous looks they created!
Romantic Look: For this classic and elegant bridal style the team used neutral colors and pops of pink on the bride’s eyes, lips and cheeks. To achieve flawless looking skin and a fresh, flushed cheek, the stylist used Makeup Forever’s HD Foundation and Mac blush in “Dainty.” A bridal must is to have lip color that lasts, so they used Mac lip liner in “Soar” and Too Faced Melted Lip stain in “Melted Marshmallow.” The bride has oh-so-beautiful almond shaped eyes so they accentuated her shape with dark brown liner and used individual lashes for eyes that “pop.” To compliment the bride’s makeup, they created a clean and sophisticated hairstyle with beautiful detail. Pulling the hair off of the face not only creates a chic and elegant statement, but also a great idea for keeping your hair in place for an outdoor ceremony!
Bold and Beautiful: Who said bridal hair and makeup has to be prim and proper? For a bolder beauty statement, the stylist opted for a sultry smokey eye, a crimson lip and voluminous curls. This style is perfect for an evening wedding and the bride that dares to be decadent. The bride’s hair and makeup stands up to the waning evening light and shows off her confidence and allure.
Braids and Beauty: Outside of wearing a veil, nothing transforms a hairstyle to a bridal style better than a hair accessory. The stylist glammed up the half up half style with a bridal belt, worn as a headband.
Pretty in Pink: The stylist opted for a softer makeup look and a high bun for an elegant and feminine style. This style is perfect for the bride who wants to keep the hair off of her face as it will keep your hair in place throughout the night.
