Southern California Villa Francesca Wedding | Allison + Aaron

Allison and Aaron got married at Villa Francesca and it was a truly a breath-taking day!

The Planning Process:

While describing their ideal wedding, Allison wanted it to be fun, modern and romantic, while Aaron just wanted there to be big smile everywhere.

When it come to nailing down an actual color scheme and aesthetic, Allison and Aaron truly wanted it to feel like Southern California and selected a venue near the ocean in order to achieve that Southern California vibe. In choosing colors, they wanted their color scheme to include a soft blue, mixed with the warm Southern California sunset colors; lots of soft colors and oranges. It was truly the perfect color scheme for their aesthetic.

I have to admit that working with Allison and Aaron was an absolute pleasure. After having to change their venue, along with many other covid challenges, Allison came across the most adorable venue, called Villa Francesca. The venue proved to be the perfect match for their intimate wedding. It had a similar aesthetic to their original venue and was still close enough to the ocean for them to get a lot of couples photos by the beach.

The Couple's Favorite Part:

After the process of planning the perfect day for this newlywed couple, the bride found that her favorite part was finding out what funny little things meant the most to Aaron when it came to weddings. They also thoroughly enjoyed cake tasting! And finally, seeing how all the crazy work come together.

The Planner's Favorite Part:

I love all weddings, however, seeing Allison and Aaron FINALLY tie the knot after so many challenges was the most gratifying thing ever. Everything came together beautifully and perfectly match Allison’s originally vision. Moses Lin performing was also one of my favorite parts!

The Ceremony:

The ceremony at Villa Francesca was everything and more!

The ceremony took place in the front lawn of Villa Francesca and was gorgeous! Moonlight Floral created an illusion arch for Allison and Aaron to say their ‘I Dos’ in front of and guests witnessed the gorgeous ceremony while sitting in comfortable, seafoam green velvet chairs.

Lastly, Moses Lin played the guitar for the ceremony and entertained guests while wandering throughout cocktail hour. He was the perfect entertainment for Allison and Aaron’s intimate wedding

The Reception:

The reception took place under the pergola in Villa Francesca backyard and gave a very intimate feeling.

Allison and Aaron selected a gorgeous light wood table and accented with simple statement floral and colored taper candles down the table. In order to bring in the ocean colors, Allison used the seafoam velvet chairs from the ceremony and added a very light blue napkin to accent each place setting.

While the reception tablespace was gorgeous, I have to admit that the cake display was my very favorite detail of the day! Heritage Desserts provided a modern white cake, white water color accents and we moved the ceremony arch to perfectly accent the cake.
