Cara and Kenan's L'Auberge Del Mar wedding in Del Mar, CA was definitely one for the books! It was a Pinterest worthy day and was overflowing with oh so many pretty details. In working through the aesthetics for the day, Cara really wanted a very classic and neutral color palette that was going to truly stand the test of time, and ended up choosing an all white and green wedding with very subtle pops of light blue and grey.
When it came to the rest of the details, Cara was torn between a number of different looks, but ultimately ended up settling on a a very classic, clean and modern vibe. I definitely think this was the right call for her, as she is naturally drawn to that more modern and clean look.
In putting the design together, the Always Flawless Productions wedding planning team made sure that every detail was intentional and had a purpose; we didn't want to be adding a lot of details 'just for the sake of adding them.' This was truly a magical wedding and be sure to scroll down to see all the gorgeous details.
When it came to creating the ceremony, we wanted the focus to be on the arch at the front of the ceremony. This is where Cara and Kenan would be saying their 'I Dos' and was an important piece of the day. We then brought in ghost chairs to keep with the clean and modern aesthetic, and added a few floral arrangements to the back of the aisle to drawn your eye all the way through the ceremony.
For cocktail hour, we sent guests down to the shaded patio with gorgeous views! Here guests were greeted with an acrylic place card and glass of champagne. If you ask me, it doesn't get better than that!
Once the ceremony ended and all guests made their way down to cocktail hour, we flipped the ceremony site to the dinner space. In creating this look, we used a mixture of long banquet tables and round tables to help create dimension in the space, and chose a very subtle light grey linen to pull in the hint of color and clean aesthetic Cara loved.
Since we used the same space for the ceremony and the reception, we were able to re-purpose the ceremony arch behind the sweetheart table to create a stunning backdrop for our lovely couple!
