We absolutely love destination weddings! They are fun for not only you but for your guests as well. When planning any destination wedding there are so many additional details to plan and organize. Here are just a few things to remember is you choose our beautiful San Diego as the backdrop for your destination wedding.

Weather: While it is basically wedding season all year round with only about 40 days of rain per year, we do suffer from May Gray and June Gloom. During these months the weather can be unpredictable but also not impossible to work with.

Guests: Your guests will love the chance to visit San Diego not only to celebrate your marriage but also take advantage of all the city has to offer. San Diego has so much to do for visitors and it may not be as expensive as other destination locations.

Venues: San Diego has a plethora of options when it comes to venues. Many people just think BEACH when they think of San Diego, but there are also beautiful vineyards, gorgeous private estates, desert oasis's, and urban venues with beautiful city views.

Location: San Diego County is large so there are many wonderful areas to choose from. That being said it is important to plan activities and hotel accommodations near the venue or offer transportation for your guests.

Coordination: When choosing to have a destination wedding consider hiring a local planner. Having a coordinator that is based in San Diego will be extremely helpful when it comes to hiring other vendors and finalizing details. Your coordinator will be able to show up to meetings that you may not be able to attend.
